From doctor to baker

We are proud to run a Persian bakery in Essen. I, Hamidreza Mirhosseini, originally worked as an anesthesiologist in Iran and have worked in operating rooms in Iran and Tajikistan, among other places. Seven years ago, I ventured to move to Germany with my wife and son. I quickly recognized a great demand for traditional Persian breads here.

About two years ago, I decided to turn this idea into reality. After importing the necessary machinery from Iran, I encountered the first challenges. Initially, I was denied permission to operate because the equipment was largely unknown here. However, with great dedication and commitment, I put everything into making our vision a reality. At the beginning of 2023, our dream finally became reality.

Since then, we have been baking fresh Persian breads with passion and dedication seven days a week. We are particularly proud of our most famous bread, the Persian Sangak bread, also known as stone bread. Our goal is to introduce you to the diversity and unique flavor of the Persian baking tradition.
